What I love about my lifestyle is that I have found ways to enjoy foods that don't fit my way of eating. People always say it's hard to stay on track because they crave certain foods. When I first started this lifestyle change, I thought to myself, "Great, no more cookies, brownies, pizza, bread, etc. I'm just going to live off bunless burgers and chicken." As I started the first few days, I was coming up with ways to still enjoy the sweets and pizzas that I wanted, and was still able to stay on track! One of my absolute favorite things I've been eating since the very start are my "pizza bites." I use to call them my version of a stromboli, but I like calling them pizza bites better! They're so easy and versatile, that I still to this day am not sick of them. I can eat them four days a week. And the best part? They're simple and quick!
What you need:
1 Flatout Bread Light wrap (I love the Italian)
Meat of choice (pepperoni, salami, ham, turkey, bacon, etc.)
Cheese of choice (literally any cheese will work, but my favorite are the ultra thin Sargento swiss slices)
Sauce (optional)
Directions:
1. Cut your flatout in half and bake on each side for about 4 minutes. This helps to basically
2. Take out both halves and place your toppings on one half, putting as much or as little as you want. You may also put sauce on there too, but I sometimes like to use the sauce for dipping!
3. Put your other half on top and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the middle is melty and yummy
4. Cut into slices and enjoy with or without sauce
