I love finding monthly box subscriptions! Keto Krate is a monthly subscription that sends you low carb goodies each month. There's a great variety of different snacks, so I was excited to try them all! Chocoperfection Chocolate bar: I'm a chocolate lover so I was excited to try it. I've heard of this brand before but I've never had the chance to try it. It's low in net carbs and the calories aren't too bad. As far as taste, it was delicious! It had a nice rich chocolate taste, that it didn't even taste sugar free to me. Of course once I tried it, I knew it would pair well with a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough B-up bar, so I stuffed and baked it inside of there. YUMMY!! Krunchy Melts Strawberry Meringues: I was very excited to try these as I haven't had sugar free meringues in awhile! I use to order them off netrition.com all the time! I've never had strawberry though and I have to admit I really liked these. Light strawberry flavor and the airy texture make for a great snack. Added bonus they're low in calories! Keto Bar: Can I just say I LOVED this! It's like eating a candy bar guilt free. It has a nice dark chocolate and coconut taste. The texture is dense, but not chewy and it's very filling! It's made with minimal ingredients, all that you can pronounce, so this is a winner in my book. Chef's Cut Buffalo Chicken Jerky: OBSESSED! I love all things spicy and this nailed it as far as flavor. It's not touch at all and it's low in calories and not too high in sodium which I can appreciate. I ate the entire bag in one sitting! NOTE: This picture is not mine and is taken directly from their site. I finished the bag too quick before snapping a picture. (That's how addicting this is haha) Flax crackers: So I've actually have these before and I'm not a fan. They have a very "seedy" taste since it's made with flax. They do resemble a crunchy cracker though. I'm just not a huge fan of flax seeds. However, I know a lot of people who really like these those. So if you're into flax seeds, definitely give them a try! Sarayo: To be honest, I wasn't sure how I felt about this. A spicy mayo? The verdict? It's actually really good...like I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. It's great on sandwiches and used as a dip for chicken and pork rinds. Malabar Black Pepper Pork Clouds: I was so happy when I saw pork rinds! I forgot how much I enjoyed pork rinds, but I've never had this brand or flavor. The crunchy texture and the pepper flavor pair well together. Great for a low carb/low calorie snack! Grandpa's Beef Jerky: I'm not a huge jerky fan only because it's tough and hard to chew. While the flavor of this is nice, it's a bit too chewy for my liking. However, I like snacks that I can't just shove in my mouth and eat in .2 seconds so for that reason it's not too bad. If you're into trying a variety of low carb snacks, definitely check out Keto Krate. Each month is a whole new box filled with low carb goodies, so it's a fun surprise to see what's in it!

I was so excited to see all the goodies inside! I can honestly say I've never had any of these products before, so I was super excited to try everything out. The first I tried was the beef jerky. When I first opened the bag, it had a nice spicy smell, and I LOVE spicy! It has a nice jerky texture but isn't too tough. As far as flavor, I would say it is spot on. Very delcious! Next was the Better Than Everything Bagel Spice. It smells like an Everything bagel and I loved the different texture it provides. I seasoned chicken and vegetables with this and must say it's pretty good. I wouldn't say there's anything special about it, but it's still a good seasoning! THESE pistachios are amazing! They're Mediterranean Herb. How good does that sound? I can't get enough of these. They have a nice seasoned flavor and it's hard to not eat the whole bag in one sitting. This is the first "flavored" pistachio brand I've had and now i don't ever want to go back to plain pistachios! So Keto Soy is something that I've never heard of, so I was very excited to see what it was. It's a chocolatey powder that is high in fiber and used as a meal replacement shake. Upon opening, it had a nice rich chocolate scent. To be honest, it's a little high in calories for my liking. I made it according to the directions, but only drank 1/4. It had a nice chocolate flavor, but it's not something I'd drink on a regular basis. If you're one of those people who don't eat a lot of meals throughout the day, I'd recommend this. So I'm not a coffee drinker so I had my parents try it since they're coffee addicts. They said it was pretty good and not too strong (which I guess is a good thing? Haha) I will admit it smelled delightful though! Elliot's Adult Nut Butter was the last I tried. Spicy Thai Peanut Butter? Something new to me! It smells peanuty with a faint citrus flavor. As far as taste, you can definitely taste the citrus and it contrasts nice with that bold peanut flavor. I didn't like this as much as I was hoping, but my dad loved it! Thanks again to Keto Delivered for the monthly box! This is is definitely a neat concept and there's new fun items every month, so be sure to check it out. Follow @ketodelivered on Instagram for more details. I was so excited to try out these bars! BUT, these bars are not low carbs or low "net carbs." Since following a lower iifym plan, I've been able to incorporate different foods that are higher in carbs, depending on what else I ate or plan on eating for that day. These bars 270-280 calories, 8F, 27C (3 fiber) and 25-26P. They're perfect for a PWO snack! First up was the peanut butter because like I ALWAYS say, you can never go wrong with peanut butter anything ;) When I first opened the wrapper I got a nice peanuty smell. As for taste, it's like eating a large rice crispy treat but healthy! It does have a slight protein bar taste, but that doesn't really bother me. I love the crunch this bar has, but it's so soft to chew. I'd definitely recommend this flavor! Now for the Chocolate flavor. This bar was a bit more sticky, but it may be because it was shipped in hot weather. It had a nice deep chocolate smell which reminded me of brownies. The texture is also crunchy, but soft to chew. The flavor was pretty good, but definitely could taste the protein flavor. But like I said, that doesn't bother me. I like that you could really see the crispies in this bar. Overall, this was pretty decent but I'd still choose peanut butter over this flavor! If you haven't tried these bars yet, I highly recommend them. Very filling and tastes great! I'm hoping they come out with new flavors soon! I love finding new companies! This one in particular may be one of my favorites because it was started by an 18 year old entrepreneur, Daniel Katz. His No Cow bars are all natural, dairy free, and vegan free! And as for the Fluffbutter, well it's too delicious for words. So let's get started! First I tried was the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough, because I'm truly a sucker for anything Peanut Butter. You definitely get that peanut taste, but it's not too overwhelming that it's too sweet. The Coco nibs throughout it give it a nice touch to the flavor and also adds a bit of crunch. The texture is thick and slightly chewy, so it fills me up pretty well! Also, I stuffed their Fluffbutter inside which will be reviewed further on this post! The Blueberry Cobbler is the fruity one of the three. It's filled with freeze dried blueberries and almonds. I thought this flavor was pretty good and also very filling. Since I am a huge blueberry fan I would like to see more blueberry pieces! Overall, good flavor. And finally the Chocolate Mint! It's sometimes hard to do this flavor because sometimes the mint is too powering or you can't taste the mint at all because it's overwhelmed by the chocolate flavor. This flavor is more minty and you can definitely tell by just unwrapping it. At times the mint was a bit too strong, but when microwaved I think the flavor really balances out; it also made the texture of the bar even softer and more enjoyable. Now onto FLUFFBUTTER! What is Fluffbutter you make ask? They are sugar free almond butters infused with plant-based protein. The texture is just so smooth and is literally almost like frosting. The Vanilla Maple taste like a sweet frosting, and what I love most about fluffbutter is the texture. It's not like anything I've tasted before. My only complaint would be that this doesn't come in a 50 ounce jar...haha. It's just really addicting, and the macros are amazing! If you haven't tried it yet, you must :) Check out @dsnaturals on Instagram and try them for yourself! You can purchase online from their site, or @vitaminshoppe. I was SO excited when I came across Fit Crunch Bars for two reasons: I love Chef Robert Irvine and it's a SIX LAYER low carb protein bar. The Cookies and Cream was the first one that I tried. I stuck it in the freezer because it seemed like a good idea...actually, it was more like the perfect idea! As soon as I opened the bar I was so excited! It has a chocolate coating drizzled with MORE chocolate. It's a chocolate lovers dream come true. When I first bit into it, it had that nice crunch. I got the soft cookie layer, the creamy layer, the littler chocolate crunchies, and the chocolate coating all in one bite. These bars are more like candy bars than protein bars. I'd definitely take these over Oreos any day! And then there's the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Oh how this flavor captured my heart. As soon as I opened the wrapper I got that whiff of chocolate that smelled just like Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies. YUM! I also stuck this one in the freezer for 15 minutes. Cold candy bars are just my thing, and these bars taste just like candy bars, but they're healthy for you. As soon as I broke it half I could see the mini bits of chocolate chips and the bottom cookie layer (which is my favorite part of these bars.) When I took a bite, I didn't want it to end. You get that nice crunch and the softness from the bottom layer cookie. The flavor was amazing! It was chocolatey, but not too chocolatey that it was too sweet. The chocolate chips were definitely there! Considering this bar is called "CHOCOLATE CHIP cookie dough," I appreciated that there were actually chocolate chips in the bar. I love the Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bar (actually it's my favorite) but it has chunks, not chips. Maybe they should change it to Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough? ;) Last but not least, the Peanut Butter flavor. Or shall I say healthy Snickers? To me, this bar tasted just like a Snickers, if not better! The chocolate is like actual chocolate-- not artificial tasting at all. You first get that crunch from the outside, then the caramel and the peanuts, and then the chewy cookie base. I loved that there are actual peanuts in this bar! Definitely going to be my new go to when I'm craving a sugary candy bar :) If you haven't tried these bars out and are looking for a low carb, healthier bar, you need to invest in FitCrunch bars! I promise you won't regret it and you'll fall in love at first bite. As soon as I opened the bread it smelled amazing. It smelled so fresh and for some reason I got a hint of cinnamon? That may be the protein smell, but regardless it smelled amazing! Do you see this slice? The bread was huge! At only 130 calories, 3.3F 12C (2F) and 14P I was so excited to toast it up! It toasted up really nicely and quickly, too! Of course I had to add peanut butter because peanut butter toast is life. The peanut butter just melted right on the bread. I enjoyed my peanut butter toast with a bag Quest BBQ chips because that combo is just perfect together. I will admit the bread was a bit chewy; I didn't think it would be because it toasted up so nicely. It's not a bad chewy, I was just hoping for more crunch since I toasted it! The bagel was pretty huge! I only ate half at a time, but honestly it was pretty filling. It toasts up nicely but still has a bit of that chew texture. One half I did a pizza bagel, the other half I did cream cheese- both were delicious! I wouldn't eat these all the time because they are a bit higher in carbs, but they are good! The wrap was also huge! This is only half a half. Crazy, right? I loved spreading peanut butter on it and folding it in half as a sandwich. It had a nice texture and wasn't as chewy as the bagel or bread. I also baked half of a half into crackers. Dipped in hummus they were AMAZING! Baked at 350 for 10 minutes and they're the perfect crunch. Therapy were just like pita chips but guiltless. They also have 5 different peanut butter flavors:
Banana Raisin: I was really excited for this flavor because I love the flavor of bananas. I thought the banana flavor was a little overpowering and I didn't like the raisins in it, either. It wasn't terrible but I was hoping to like it better. White chocolate: My absolute favorite of the bunch! It was creamy and you could definitely get that white chocolate taste! Signature Blend: This one was just okay to me. It had bits of flax and cranberries and I'm not too big on cranberries. Unique flavor though. Peanut Butter: I loved how creamy this was! I actually just ate this one right from the jar. Taste like regular peanut butter but a bit sweeter which I enjoyed. Almond Butter: This was really good. Tastes just like almond butter but with added protein which is a plus. Nothing too special about it though. So if you haven't tried out P28 products, you should! I am definitely a White Chocolate peanut butter lover! I love cheesecake. And by love I mean I could eat a whole cheesecake by myself in a week if I could. When I found out about Eli's Skinny selection, I just had to try it for myself! I've heard nothing but great reviews on it so I was so excited to get my hands on their Skinny Eli Plain Cheesecake. Nutrition Facts: Calories: 150 calories Total Fat: 10g Saturated Fat: 6g Trans Fat: 0g Cholesterol: 55mg Sodium: 115gg Total Carb: 12g Dietary Fiber: 0g Sugar: 3g Protein: 3g **So for one slice, the macros are pretty good: not too high in calories, carbs, or sugar. Since they are a bit higher in carbs, I was hoping for a bigger piece. However, I do like the fact they were all pre-cut and portioned. The texture is so creamy and it has a nice rich flavor that you honestly can't tell it's "lite." The crust adds a nice touch and adds a nice sweetness to the flavor of the cheesecake. It's very soft and the crust isn't crumbly like some cheesecake bottoms are. You can also add your favorite toppings to give it an additional delicious flavor! If you've never tired peanut butter on cheesecake, you're missing out! The two really contrast each other nicely. I can't get over how creamy and rich this cheesecake really is. Even my mom, who isn't a big cheesecake fan, really enjoyed it! You can try Eli Cheesecake out here, and checkout their other flavors of cheesecake. In their Skinny Eli, they offer plain, chocolate, and key lime.
You can also follow them on Instagram: @elischeesecake I think it's pretty obvious I love finding low carb products! When I came across New Hope Mills, I saw that they had a "Low Carb/Sugar Free" line and just had to check it out. They have a pancake/waffle mix, blueberry muffin/bread mix, and orange cranberry muffin/bread mix. I was so excited to try their pancake waffle mix because I LOVE waffles. Nutrition facts: Serving size: 1/4 C dry Calories: 90 Total Fat: 2g Saturated Fat: 1g Sodium: 290mg Carbs: 9g Dietary Fiber: 4g Sugars: 0 Protein: 13g The directions show to use 1/2 C mix, 1 T oil or butter, and 1 egg. I used 1/4 C mix, 1 T of butter and 1 egg and it came out PERFECT. Like seriously, just how I remember waffles used to taste! I honestly forget they were low carb. The flavor is rich and the texture is crunchy, yet soft on the inside. They are also great for adding in fruits or chocolate chips like I did. It doesn't take long at all for it to cook up in the waffle iron either which I thought was great. I love my protein bars for breakfast, but sometimes I like to change it up a little and these are perfect for a quick breakfast! Slap some bacon in there and you have a waffle sandwich. They also worked really well for pancakes! They weren't dry at all, which is always a plus. I thought that because it was lower in carbs that it wouldn't work as well as the waffles, but they came out nicely! They were fluffy and probably the best low carb mix I've ever had. I got four good sized pancakes out of them, and it was pretty filling. Top them with peanut butter and you have yourself a tasty breakfast! You can purchase New Hope Mills here and check them out on Instagram @newhopemills
I was sent a sample package of a variety of Great Low Carb products to review. I was so excited to try everything, especially the bagels! Being really excited about the bagels, it was the first I tried of the bunch. These Everything Bagels only have 120 calories and 2g of net carbs. Verdict? Delicious.! They toast up very nicely. I will admit, they are EXTREMELY hard to cut, but if you microwave it for 8 seconds, it's much easier! They're decently sized bagels, just about the size of a regular bagel. These bagels are delicious with Aloutte spreadable cheese! This may sound weird, but they are AMAZING with peanut butter. You may think an Everything Bagel with peanut butter sounds weird, but it'll knock your socks off, I promise. Then onto the brownies, because who doesn't love brownies? These brownies have only 55 calories and 3g of net carbs. They are pretty comparable to Thin Slim Foods brownie, and they pretty much taste the same to me. But regardless, I loved it! It's a nice little decadent brownie that isn't overly dense, but still has that true brownie feel. The Lemon muffin was just okay. However, I'm not a big lemon fan to begin with. It's not overly powering with the lemon flavor, so I didn't mind it too bad, but I don't think I'd eat the lemon one again. I'm more of a chocolate girl! However, the texture is on point. It's soft and easy to pull apart just as you would expect a muffin to be. They have other flavors in their muffins so I'm sure there are other flavors I'd love! The bread was yummy! It also toasts up very nicely like the bagels. Perfect peanut butter toast. Nice crunch an the peanut butter still gets all melty and perfect. The cinnamon paelo granola! This was tasty but hard on my teeth. The look of it doesn't match the taste at all. To me, it doesn't look appealing but it is a good sweet treat. Overall, not bad, just too hard for my liking. You can checkout Great Low Carb on Instagram @greatlowcarb and try them for yourself! I was so excited to try out Glenny's snacks especially when I heard there was a brownie for ONLY 100 CALORIES! 100 calorie brownie? It can't taste good. Or can it? IT CAN PEOPLE, IT CAN! I'm not sure how this chocolatey little brownie tastes like a real bakery brownie, but it does. So when you want to eat two brownies at once (which you will want to) don't feel guilty. The size of this brownie is decently sized, which I was shocked. I was kind of expecting a smaller sized one since it's only 100 calories. But as you can see, it's about the size of a regular brownie. BUT (there's always a but,) this brownie has chocolate chips. Double the chocolate means double the yum! I just wish there were there more chocolate chips though. Best way to eat it? WITH FROSTING OF COURSE. The texture and everything is spot on. I forgot I was eating a 100 calorie brownie because it sure doesn't taste like it. All my chocolate lovers: this is a must try! They also have a brownie with peanut butter and blondies which are next on my to eat list. Then onto the Easy Peasy Chips. Each bag is only 110 calories and has 12g of protein. What I liked most about these is that you get the crunch of real chips and they are very filling. Chili Lime: These ones weren't so bad. I actually like these ones and thought they had a nice subtle flavor. They're not overly spicy, but they go really well with hummus! Sea Salt: I wasn't really a fan of these ones. They're not bad, but I'm not big fan of sea salt in the first place and found them to be a bit bland. Still great for a chip alternative though! Parmesan & Olive Oil: I loved these ones. They're not too overpowering in flavor, but you can definitely taste the parmesan and olive oil.
